For more than five decades, Sixty and Better has provided a place for Tarrant County’s older adults to have fun, be well, and stay connected. All proceeds from our annual fundraiser help fund weekday meals and transportation, health and wellness programs, and more critical efforts in support of our mission.

About Sixty and Better

Sixty and Better is where healthy aging begins. Through our signature programming and vital services, Sixty and Better provides social, health, wellness, and nutritional support to Tarrant County’s young at heart, as well as volunteer opportunities that allow older people to meaningfully serve others. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our vision is to end isolation so those in the prime of their lives can thrive.

Formerly Senior Citizen Services of Greater Tarrant County, Sixty and Better has a county-wide network of 25 Activity Centers and serves more than 3,500 older people annually, many located in low-income neighborhoods and in minority communities. Our mission—to empower older adults to live with purpose, independence, and dignity—remains the same as it was more than 50 years ago. (Federal EIN 75-1251339)
